From Settings, choose to add a bank connection and search for your institution — sign-in is handled by Plaid, so Behold never sees or stores your bank credentials. Plus links up to 2 banks and Pro up to 10, and you can disconnect a linked account at any time.

Choose "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen and enter your email. We'll send a link that's valid for a limited time — open it to set a new password, then sign in as usual.

Your account supports two-factor authentication and passkey sign-in, and every workspace's data is kept isolated from every other one at the database level. Bank connections are handled by Plaid rather than Behold storing your bank credentials directly.

Bank connections are provided through Plaid, so which institutions are available depends on Plaid's own coverage and can vary — search for your bank during the connection flow to check. Bank connections currently cover U.S. financial institutions; manual tracking works for any account, anywhere.

From Settings, open Plans and choose Plus or Pro — the change applies right away and everything you've already tracked comes with you. Plus adds 2 linked bank connections with automatic import, categorization, bill detection and cash forecasting, Standard Behold AI chat, unlimited ledgers, themes, family sharing, and shared budgets and goals. Pro adds everything in Plus, raises linked banks to 10 and adds Advanced Behold AI.

From Settings > Plans, choose to cancel. You keep your paid features until the end of the current billing period, then your account moves to Free automatically — nothing is deleted, and your accounts, transactions and goals stay with you.

Behold AI answers questions about your accounts, spending, budgets and goals in plain language. Standard Behold AI chat is included with Plus; Advanced Behold AI, on Pro, adds deeper analysis and personalized insights. It never moves your money on its own — anything it suggests is something you review and approve.

From Settings > Export, choose what to include and download a ZIP file of your data as CSV and/or JSON, organized by category. Download links expire after a few days for security, so save the file once it's ready.

Manual tracking works anywhere, in English, Spanish or Portuguese, with support for a wide range of currencies. Bank connections currently cover U.S. financial institutions only, so outside the U.S. — or for a bank Plaid doesn't yet reach — manual tracking is still fully usable.
